Q. I'm having trouble connecting to an online resource. What should I do?

A few common snags:

  • The online resource doesn’t recognize you’re a Smith user. Double check that you’re on the Smith network or, if you’re off campus, that you’re accessing the online resource via the Libraries website and providing your Smith log-in when prompted.
  • The browser you’re using doesn’t work well with the online resource you’re trying to access. Try another browser. If that resolves the problem, you may want to clear your browser history.
